- On 2 February 2026, The Middleby Corporation ("Middleby") completed the sale of 51% of its Residential Kitchen Equipment Group (the "Residential Transaction"). The ultimate ownership in the company was transferred to RKG Group Partners, LP, a Delaware limited partnership (the "Limited Partnership") created in connection with the Residential Transaction and is owned by Middleby and private equity partners led by 26North Partners LP who collectively own 51% of the Limited Partnership (Middleby owns the remaining 49%). Composition Brands (formerly known as RKG Newco, LLC) is the holding company under the Limited Partnership that now serves as the parent company of the former Middleby Residential companies, including AGA Rangemaster, Novy, La Cornue, Viking, Lynx and Northland (U-Line/Marvel). No one limited partner of the Limited Partnership owns more than 49% of the Limited Partnership.
